PAXIMITY COMMUNITY

Community Guidelines

Clear expectations that keep observations useful and protect the people behind them.

Share observations, not assumptions

Paximity reports represent community observations. They may be inaccurate, delayed, expired, or outdated. Report only what you reasonably observe and choose the most accurate available category. Remove or update a report when the product permits and circumstances change.

Protect people and privacy

  • Never use Paximity to stalk, track, locate, harass, threaten, or attempt to identify another person or anonymous walker.
  • Do not post personal information, precise addresses, private communications, or content that exposes someone’s identity without permission.
  • Use Besties only with people you already know. Respect declined, ended, or ignored connections.

Keep reports useful

  • Do not create intentionally false animal, dog, wildlife, people/activity, hazard, resource, or trail-condition reports.
  • Do not use reports maliciously, to target someone, to settle disputes, or to manipulate other users.
  • Do not spam, upload illegal or infringing content, impersonate others, or misuse support channels.

Stay responsible outdoors

Paximity does not replace awareness, judgment, dog control, leash laws, wildlife guidance, trail rules, or emergency services. The absence of an alert does not mean an area is safe or empty.

Enforcement and reporting concerns

Leoka Labs may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines or put people, animals, or the service at risk. Report urgent threats to local emergency services. Send product-related concerns to contact@leokalabs.com.
