DOG STATUS
Participating walkers can share useful context such as on leash, off leash, or reactive during an active walk.
COMMUNITY SIGHTINGS
Community observations may include dogs, coyotes, snakes, other wildlife, people or trail activity, hazards, and conditions.
TRAIL RESOURCES
Find community-reported waste bag stations, water stations, and other useful resources along the way.
BESTIES
People and dogs who already know one another may optionally see when a Bestie is walking and decide whether to meet.
PRIVACY FIRST
Location sharing is tied to an explicitly started walk. Users control when they begin and end active-walk sharing.
Paximity is an awareness tool, not a safety system. GPS, connectivity, notifications, community reports, and coverage can be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. The absence of an alert does not mean an area is safe or empty.
